Idiots or wusses?

Is it better to look like a group of idiots for talking about it or a group of wusses for dancing around it?

My apologies mods, I respect your position and I understand that this is Fenway's treehouse and we're just playing in it. I also apologise if I'm going out in a blaze of banhammer glory, I simply couldn't keep quiet on this one.

The planned parenthood current events are important and worthy of our attention and discussion. It's near impossible to have a civil discussion on the issue since both sides believe the other side is being intentionally obtuse. It also doesn't help that there are certain actors that have seemed to show up and poop in the pool without repercussion. I had the common sense to know that I couldn't participate in the previous conversation and stay within the rules, though it appears I have misplaced it. Perhaps I will locate it during my upcoming vacation.

The merits of abortion are as worthy of discussion as the merits of self defense. Both are intentionally taking a life. I think much like the religious debate that this topic would cool off if it were allowed to exist long enough to do so.

Perhaps if they can see that they were spoken for they can find a little contentment on the issue without becoming a shooter themselves

It's news, there will be more tapes released and it will continue to be news..I understand where the mods are coming from but I also understand the need to discuss this topic because it is news....There is a happy middle ground and although I have been the victim of a ban hammer I have to say these guys do the best they can to keep this forum civil...If I get banned again it will be because their intentions are good, I can be an a$$ at times, and that civility is something we should all strive for...

They lifted the religious ban and my respect for INGO (and even INGOtarians) went up...For awhile Atheists had a free rein on evangelizing their Religion and Saints to the rest of us while we had to sit on our hands and fume...As Paul said earlier he was surprised at how civil the discussion became...Perhaps that may happen here...I just hope we don't lose people before that day and if that day comes the folks that were banned are invited back...

INGO is the best forum out there and I really think a lot of you folks and missed you the two weeks I was gone....Lord that sounded so Lifetime Channel....

I also thought that the most recent thread was generally civil. For right or wrong, no matter your stance on the issue, it is a newsworthy story. And will likely continue to be so for some time to come as more videos are released and the investigations commence.

Just spit-balling here but wouldn't it make more sense to address individuals going over the line rather than blacklisting an entire ongoing current event?

I had been following that thread quite a bit and cant think of any violations unless that topic all by itself is a violation. I don't have local television at home, and the news that I do watch at the firehouse doesn't talk about stuff like that thread. I was following it to see if any victories were going to be had against that clearly biased "judge".... I am disappointed it got locked mostly because this is a VERY VERY large issue in our time and I would like to stay up to date on it. INGO is where I typically stay up to date, and now that its verboten I doubt I will stay very connected with the issue at all.

Oh, I didn't see that. Kinda weird, I thought we were trying to move away from 'prohibited topics' and I thought it was going really well so far. I heard many years ago, that 80% of abortions, were done for "birth control".......

I have been listening to Dana and the chicks, and PP reports that 99% of ALL abortions, are for "birth control".....

JMHO, "birth control", PREVENTS pregnancy..... anything after that ..... well it is up to you .....
