I saw 2 cougars in a Howard Johnson bar one night. I let them live.

I'm too old for cougars now. They pretty much ignore me anymore...but I've never had one run away from me though.

Animals can be unpredictable, but that kitty definitely looked like it just wanted to get away. No threat, kitty would have lived.

Yes. That cat was not stalking or hunting. It just wanted to get past.

100% it would have lived, you could see how scared it was. I would have tried to be prepared, ready to draw instead of filming, though. Far cry from the ruthless killers they are made to seem.
