Transferable MGs are expensive. I like guns that have multi caliber options. Those guns are in no order are:
    Mac 10, M-16, RDIAS, 1919, & HK sear
I feel lucky have 2 on list, but the top two I want I don't have yet. That said I would like a 1919.

For the sake of practicality I would choose an M-16, but I have to say that my favorite machine gun the one I think is just too cool is the Thompson. To me something about the Thompson just oozes cool factor all over the place...

Any machinegun you want. Only 1. What would you have?

    I would want a MP7.
The MP7 huh? Does machine pistols factor into this thread? If so I would take the MP5. It fires NATO 9mm, which can be found about everywhere, and it is good enough to cover most targets effectively out to 75 yards or so. JMHO.

If money are no object I would get an H&K registered sear as these can be used on a bunch of H&K guns. If money matters, then nobody can go wrong with an M11/9 with proper upper.
