That depends on where you go though, doesn't it? Supposedly it's a class 4 felony if you carry a gun in an establishment that sells alcohol. So don't go out to eat..or to walmart, or the grocery store..or the gas station..?

please please please read the illannoy law carefully. yes the 1st time you get caught CAN be a misdemeanor (including up to 1 year in jail) but it can be escalated to a felony. seeing your location (like me) is close to crrok county and chicago, if CPD were to arrest you i'm sure that would be the minimum you'd be loking at. not to mention i guarantee they would have indiana yank your LTCH for not being a "proper person"
