    Just spent $49 :xmad:

six tickets for 3D Jungle Book, two drinks, and four things of candy. Kids are happy though :)

A stop for candy in advance would help that...as would these wise words...

I sneak in syrup concentrate packets and grab a used cup from the floor. Then I fill it in the sink and drop a CO2 canister in it, so it's not like I'm paying theater prices

There is a very nice 1st run theater in Niles, MI. $5-7 movie tickets, $2-3 pops and popcorn. Last time I took my wife and kids it was under $30 for everything.

I have wondered if the theater owners realize they would sell a lot more product and not have people bringing in their own if they would just price things reasonably.

if McDonald's can sell a large Coke for $1, why does the theater have to charge $5.75?

Yee charge what the market will bare.

Hrm.... I think that's the wrong bare. But funny. Reminds me of my limerick

    running along in my underwear,
neighbors stopped and they started to stare
put a hand to my chin,
then I said with a grin,
i don't know how much more I can bare

    Because people will buy it.
