I'm done with FNH

I've never owned a fnh product but I did get to shoot one last year and it malfunctioned every time I pulled the trigger. After really getting into it, it was clear the issue was the magazine not feeding properly and it did have a very weak spring.

FWIW Ive not had a single issue with my FNP9.

Couldn't you stretch spring or shim it?

I had the same problem with some used H&K USP mags. They had been left loaded for too long and not rotated out. I took the mag apart and manually stretched the springs and now they run flawlessly.

I've had great experiences with FN. When I bought my FNP .45 tactical it was short 2 of the magazines. Bob from PSS got on the phone with the FN rep and was told they shipped with one because of a shortage but got me the 2 others. I also got a box in the mail from FN with 2 or 3 t-shirts and a hat etc for my trouble.

I will say FNs rifles are like a sore penis... Tough to beat.
Their pistols though don't impress me. I've never run them, so it's just from gun shop handling that I draw that conclusion.

I agree. Poor customer service, or non existent customer service would be enough to make me send it down the river. NO excuse for that. Just my .02

I would not put up with it either... I'd say if they can't get me springs or followers, then send me replacement mags, and I'll send mine back.
