I'm looking for someone with a receiver vice block - Bloomington, IN

Do any of you fine gentlemen with an upper receiver vice block want to help me torque my barrel into my receiver?

I'm too cheap to spend the $50+ on a block, but wouldnt mind paying a small fee to use or rent yours.


I'm in Bloomington, but would be happy to drive a few minutes if you have one I could borrow/use.

I have one, 20 mins south of Bloomington (I was just in town last night but don't have any plans to go to bloomington at this time)

Bedford is just right down the road from me.
I may be sending my upper out to Adco soon for some work, and may not need to use a vice for a little while.

I wrapped my upper in an old sweatshirt and clamped it in a vice and did mine and had no trouble

Just to update the thread: the OP and I have worked it out. I'm actually going to thread his barrel (so he doesn't have to send it off) and help him assemble his upper.
