I'm Officially an INGO!!!

Today is a banner day for me! I joined the NRA at the gun show today ("About time" according to my brother who has been a member for over twenty years). And then I bought my first gun, a Bersa Thunder! It felt like a rite of passage! My brother then pronounced it one of the seven signs of the apocalypse, and wished Mr Evilwrench "Good luck" now that I'm officially armed. Next step is applying for my license to carry! I'm so very excited!!

I would highly recommend looking into training now. It is well worth the money!

This is definitely high on my wish list. Now that I have my own gun I want to spend time getting familiar with it. I did read the paperwork that came with it and identified all of the main parts and functions. Now I want to spend some range time getting familiar and comfortable with using it, and then I'll be enrolling n a firearms class. I learned at the Women's shoot lat month that I should have some familiarity with my handgun before I try any intensive training. I'm really looking forward to it!
