Do all IMPD officers have body cams? Is it policy to have them on anytime a deceased person is involved? And last but not least, how long is video usually saved?

Edited: Another question.......how do I obtain a police report from 1 1/2 years ago?

    Thank You!

Yes, ALL uniform officers have Body Worn Cameras (BWC). BWC will automatically activate on arrival to a scene. They will be turned off at the completion of a run or at the direction of detectives if it is a homicide/suicide/OD death. Depending on the type of recording, video retention varies from a year to forever. If you have a case #, you can buy it online. Otherwise, Citizen Services in the CCB. https://www.indy.gov/activity/request-an-incident-report
