    SOLD

Imperial Metal .22short revolver. I bought this a year ago and my understanding is that in the late 60's a department store for government employee's only sold these weapons. I have never fired it but it locks up tight. Comes with a holster that's pretty worn. I bought this thinking it would be fun to take out plinking, but its stayed in the safe since and now I could use the cash for some other expenses.

$100 FTF. Can meet anywhere around Indy.

You are correct about the store that sold these weapons. Govco was located about 3200 N. Shadeland ave. It is an antique mall now. My Father and I would go there in the late 60's. The sporting goods dept. sold these for $13.95. On Saturday they would run them on special at $9.95. (Saturday Night Special) They also sold Nazi K98 Mausers for $16.95 to $19.95 depending on condition. They were covered in cosmoline and stuck in a wooden barrel. My dad wouldn't let me buy one. Seeing this one brings back memories.
