    Here's a hypothetical situation, because what would INGO be without a twist in the thread like this, what if you are pulled over because your vehicle fits the description of a suspect's vehicle that was involved in a crime? You have done nothing wrong, just a coincidence that you are driving in the area in a similar car.

    Well , if your in commiefornia there's a good chance the occupants will be riddled with holes and any survivors will get paid .

You have done nothing wrong, just a coincidence that you are driving in the area in a similar car.
    If an officer would reasonably believe that the vehicle he is stopping is the one involved in the event, it is perfectly legal for him to do so. Reasonable Suspicion is a fairly low standard.

    However, the "refusal to identify" statute doesn't apply to criminal stops, only to infractions and ordinance violations.
