    Get rid of the IRS and tax benefits for marriage, and we'd be able to get at some root issues pretty quickly.

    Agree with gay marriage or not, as long as it does no harm to you or yours, it shouldn't effect you in any way.

    If you disagree with it, you still SHOULD have freedom of association.

    If you agree with it, you still SHOULD respect those that disagree with it. Don't force them to bow to your viewpoint. That path leads to the dark side.

    If a religion doesn't support gay marriage, don't try to force them to.
    If you feel that strongly about gay marriage but your religion don't support, well that is one of the reasons that we have over 200 christian denominations in the US, start a new denomination that does.

    Government should have ZERO say in who anyone marries or why.


    Much like birth control, and marriage, the government needs to stay out of the bedroom.
