Colour me surprised, but glad nonetheless. Now we get to see what the house and senate will do with this bill. No doubt the drug warriors will be out in force saying how hard it will make their jobs, but here's hoping they refuse to listen to them and pass it and pope Pence signs it. No doubt the feds will make it virtually impossible to get a permit to grow, but that's what nullification could remedy. This is a good crop for Indiana farmers and one I'm glad to see added.

Fiber production hemp isn't all that great for smoking and smoking hemp isn't that great for fiber production. I'm against legalization and I see this as okay. Two different cultivars of the same plant. Like the difference between cauliflower and broccoli.

I too hope it passes. Pot and hemp are two different crops, but unfortunately those supposedly smarter than us leaders can't tell the difference.

Frankly with that lack of understanding, I'm somewhat surprised that they didn't outlaw pseudo-ephedrine because it's too close to methamphetamine.

What if I wanted to arrest people for broccoli but not cauliflower? Would you think I was a reasonable person?

i saw a documentary a long long time ago about how hemp was grown in this country long time ago and used for so many great things in industry, rope clothing, paper, all kinds of stuff that is a better quality than cotton, or the other things we use now. more jobs
