Should I expect to find good deals on bulk target/reloaded .40 S&W ammo at this show?

Went to Walmart today at 96th Street and their prices were insane. $31.97 for 100 rounds. Really? Am I crazy to consider $0.20-$0.27/rd acceptable?

I'll probably go anyways just to see what cool stuff I can find. No carry there right?

Just got back from the show... meh. Found a great deal on a mag for my Buck Mark - ONLY $60! And 420 rds. of 5.56 M193 for only $225

Oh well... it was a good way to kill 15 minutes.

Drove past today, might be going tomorrow to window shop.
One table had a 91/30 for the low, low price of $185. Not a Finn, not an ex-sniper, not an M44... just your run of the mill 91/30 (you know, the kind you can get for 89.99). :n00b: While I'm always glad to see another gun show come up, this one left me a little disappointed. Maybe it will be better if and when they have it again. I have to admit that I was skeptical before I ever went in when I saw the sign by the front door saying "No loaded guns or CLIPS allowed". Good thing I left my stripper CLIPS at home.

Beez1954 and I went to the show today. I didn't see any bargins, but I did see some fair prices on some S&W Pistols ($501) and 40 S&W Ammo Remington Golden Saber for 20 bucks, which I thought was decent. However, I only saw one box at that price.

There were some bargains, S&W 638 and 642's for 359.95 a pretty good price. There were some older 2" S&W M64's that you don't see that often for around 389.00 or so. I also saw a nice S&W m681 for 469.00. I saw some AR's for reasonable to average prices but didn't see anything I really needed today.

Low attendance, I thought the show was weak, it could be the weather ( too nice outside ) and Mother's day weekend like someone else pointed out. I will maybe go again in the future. I did like the facility, clean and no back ground noise.

I may have sounded like I was really down on this particular show, but as I did say, I was glad to see another gun show (especially close to me!). But, 5 bucks to get to walk around and look at guns and "gun stuff" is 5 bucks well-spent IMHO. :)

Yeah saw that sign when I was checking the hours. Meh, for $5 it's cheaper than the gas to do the same thing at Bradis :dunno:

Bad show like most of them high prices and junk guns. Most of these tables just set up and ask stupid prices so they can buy from individuals and don't have to worry about selling anything. So it just ends up being a bunch of people trying to buy off individuals, I know that's why I go to gun shows what about everybody else.
