Now I'm aware this a quote from the Democrat in Arizona:

Where it would appear consistent with the belief of many here, that facts have proven that individual rights ensure public safety.

I understand this is preaching to the choir, but I thought it would be good to have a thread that was a source of instances where armed citizens preventing crime could be shared, so that we can show politicians that talk about saving lives with gun control, just where the facts are in relation to arming citizens.
