I prefer outdoors, esp with rifles.
While the 100 yards would be an improvement for the guys blasting AR's at current indoor 25 yard places............100 is still pretty boring.

Talk to Barry at Open Range. He built/owns a 5 bay 100yd rifle, 12 bay 50yd pistol, Cadillac of a range in Crestwood, KY. And he's a helluva nice guy, so I imagine he could help you avoid "gotcha" type things. FWIW, he built it inside the old skating rink and it's surrounded by apartments and condos, so it is possible.

I would too. I think handling the heavy calibers is high value. If Parabellum can handle full auto MG-42s then so can you. But that in itself makes me ask, where did the owners of Parabellum find a half mil to drop one in the middle of Avon???

FWIW: Avon is farther than I care to drive for an indoor range, but Greenwood / Whiteland is not. I would want to group test my Highpower rifles, practice my standing and sitting techniques (notice I said sitting), then go over to the pistol range and shoot steel at 10 yds.
