    Two IF consecutive serial numbered.

I'd be in for ONE AND I would pay EXTRA $$ specifically for: S/N INGO16-023

Can't imagine anyone would object, except the special handling service, which I'd pay extra $$ ...
    ...not a show stopper...
I am glad to see I am not the only one thinking special S/N.

I would take one but only if it doesn't have any serial numbers on it. (I'm kidding, dammit.)

    I originally said 1 or 2

Depends on the shop they're being transfered too locally. I won't pay $30-$40 to transfer a lower.

I'm with you on that, I was thinking $15 or $20 for the transfer, if it is one shop, then they should be making plenty of money for their 10 minute (per transfer) phone call.

It'd be cool to have a meet and shoot one year later to see what everyone built with their lowers.
I'm definitely thinking flat top receiver with an A1 style stock set.

That or hunt down one of those USGI A1 kits that came in a while back and use it for a build of that. EDIT: Dang, those kits have doubled in price since I last looked at them.

OR get some of those fancy wooden AR-15 stock sets and build with that in mind.

    It's like Legos for adults.

Curious on the under 21 fellow in OH.
If the FFL marks RIFLE on the 4473, is it then considered a rifle (never to be made into a pistol)? Or is that checked item to be made by the manufacturer only?
