Ok, I may be showing my ignorance about RRA here, but do they do a lot of FA sales/contracts for DoD and/or LE? I just always assumed Colt had the monopoly.

This "They shoot at least two magazines through the fully automatic guns." is what got me wondering.

RRA has THE contract for DEA. Check their website. They sell a "government" model that's a DEA spec rifle sans auto, including bells and whistles (optic, light, BUIS, etc.).

I don't think F&S would get it wrong about auto testing; if so DEA models are likely the testing reference.

That's "had," as in 2003. It was a 5-year contract, so it would've expired last year. And the carbines they provided were semi-automatic.

And then there was one - FEDS select new fighting rifle: Rock River's DEA carbine

So they ARE making rifles. Some have been waiting for a year for the .308 model that they advertised 3 years ago and even have a pending order.

Yep and those are $200-$400 too much. From what I was told I would pay.

Actually, since they have *gasp* firearms in the work place, I'm surprised they don't have daily shootouts and mass killings by disgruntled workers.

Or maybe guns aren't the real problem?
