Glad you had fun. We are all working on getting better it is a constant job. I will pencil you into the book. Some simple dry fire drills between now and then will help things soak in. I can post a couple of ideas for these drills if you like.

Sure, post them up! I imagine others would like the drills as well. I just need to take more time for practice.

    Some dry fire drills

Target: 6 inch paper plates spaced two to three feet apart four to five feet high.

    Distance: nine to ten yards

Drill 1: Draw to a plate and establish a sight picture on the plate do not pull the trigger.
    Repeat on each plate.

Focus: Getting a good firing grip on the gun in the holster
Smooth draw to the firing position
Seeing the sights as soon as they are up and on target

Drill 2: Draw to the first plate and dry fire on each target from the left to the right.

Focus: Getting a good smooth draw and bring the gun to the eyes for the sight picture
Smooth draw to the firing position
See the sights on each plate before pulling the trigger
    Smooth is fast
Be sure the sights are on the target when pulling the trigger.

Drill 3: Repeat drill 2 but from right to left.

Since some of us didn't HTFU and go shoot on this sunny Indiana day, I plan on being there to get in some quality trigger time before Mississippi.

I was on my way and I called Coach to let him know. He told me about the weather and that he wasn't going, so I called BigCraig and turned back toward home.

    We need t-shirts.

But them have to be unbleached, undyed, high thread count combed cotton, so as not to irritate our delicate skin.

Have a few available spots for the league on Saturday at this time, but I am expecting to recruit some folks Wednesday night at the Rose-Hulman class so if anyone wants a make up match with some instruction for the rained out South Central they should let me know before Wednesday to be safe.

Thanks to everyone for participating today. I trust everyone was suitable entertained. I have entered the scores once but something was not done properly. I have to talk to Rhino before I am entering them all again. Sorry for the delay.

I wish Hickman had been here with the camera rolling:)
