Mostly out of boredom tonight, I started searching around for information on a rifle I have. I bought it back in the early to mid '90s at the PX on Parris Island. Caliber is 308. Mounted a 6x Bushnell scope on it when I got it. And have put exactly 10 rounds through it at some time in the distant past. Otherwise, it is nestled safely in the safe.

Blue book of gun values lists a Viscount model as the most widely produced, which I'm guessing it probably is. Though the box is long gone and it isn't marked as such anywhere.

Google searches show a few rifles here and there, all with wood stocks. Mine is black synthetic. Barrel is probably 24", no sights.

Anyone have any kind of knowledge or information?? Thoughts or comments?
