    If its the legislature's role to create laws, and if they aren't creating, or reviewing, they are doing nothing? And we wouldn't want that... So by the actual existence their role is to infinitely create more laws. Which in turn will create a more strict and controlled society. Given enough time will our U.S. legislature eventually run out of laws to write? Are we automatically slaves to our own Government, for what we need them for? :dunno:

    I agree completely. Why must Congress be perpetually in session? Why must they always be around, searching for a 'problem' to apply their 'fix' to?

    When all you have is a hammer... everything starts to look like a nail...

    Congressional sessions should only be called when necessary. Not mandatory sessions every single year, making new laws to infinity, seeking legislative utopia...
