Is there a book for laws governing use of force?

I feel one of the things I need to research and learn is what the laws in Indiana are concerning the use of force by a private citizen. I would like to know way more about this, but I'm looking for something you don't have to be a lawyer to read.

Not a book per saw but a course given near Indy called Comprehensive Indiana Gun Law by Tactical Firearms Training, LLC

The Law of Self-Defense: A Guide for the Armed Citizen by Andrew F. Branca
