I picked mine up today from Bradis (great guys )! Will shoot it this week and post a review! Like the feel so far but real test will be when I shoot it. My computer is being worked on so I will post pics later. I admit that I will like it when the longer mags come out as my pinky needs a home!

Oh yeah, I was surprised that Bradis only got 1 gun so far as I read on XDs forum that other shops got 2or3 guns. Haven't heard of any getting more than 3 yet. Cost was $549.00 retail plus tax.

Definitely tell us more when you get the chance to wring it out a little bit.

Slim guns are far easier to carry. I can put my Kahr in a front or cargo pocket and go, or wear it behind my hip and barely notice it's there. I carry all the time now, which I could not say before when all I had was double stack pistols. Its great seeing this trend in the market.

Watch how many people dive on this gun thinking 45acp is going to rule the world out of it...

does 600-650fps with a 230gr bullet or 750-800 with a 185gr bullet sound appealing to you?
That's 22lr energy levels for those who don't have a calculator handy.
9mm in 115gr non+P out of a barrel that short would still have twice the energy of the 45acp.

And only 5 rounds in the magazine..? Have to be kidding me. People seem to forget that barrel length is a big equation in a round's performance.

Want a flat carry single stack 45, that's widely available with tons of after market parts supporting it? Get a 1911 and be done with it. Too long? Get a 4.25" commander size 1911, the velocity difference won't be much until you go under 4 inches.

Also, so many people have forgot about the glock 36... it's unreal how people go bonkers over something that's already been done and is widely available.

I saw one pic of a side view of the pistol but, here is what the big deal is to me:

That's gotta be super easy to conceal in the summer time.

I received a Midwest Gun Exchange sales flyer in the mail today. The front page featured the XDS saying it was in stock. The ad did not have a price. My guess is list price.

You know it's tiny when you can hide it behind a PX4. The surprising thing is my xdm 4.5 .40 has more recoil.:dunno: I give it two thumbs up for a pocket popper.
