    Got this message from a Hoosier friend on another firearm site. He asked that I post it here, and I agree that this needs to be looked into.

    Thought maybe it applies more to Indiana guys so wondered if you might want to let them know.
    Looking for something else I found that the commissioners are considering an ordinance on target shooting
    All I have is minutes from their meetings (pdfs) of June 5th page 231 and July3rd page 291

    They can be found here and that's about it

    They already have an attorney working on it and some ideas include - specific distance from neighbors, prior notification and set time frames
    I think some members there also use Hunting Indiana and I know there are Jasper county guys around both

    This is in Jasper County in NW Indiana that borders Lake County on the north.
    I grew up there.
    Rensselaer is the county seat.

    When I hear Bailey's Corner mentioned, and complaints about a lot of gunfire, I'm not surprised if it's anything like it used to be years ago.
