Just saw this...

State Sen. Jim Tomes says he?ll seek GOP nomination for governor

Assuming this to be true, if any of you are positioned in party leadership positions, Tomes has walked the walk on 2nd Amendment issues. He has been solid, and deserves any support we can give him.

In all of the negative "this person sucks because..." of campaigns etc. here's a guy we all can and should support.

I could easily support Jim Tomes......he is more about individual rights than any other candidate running.....Not only on 2A issues, but he was one of the leaders back in 2011 and 2012 that orchestrated the repeal of the current Switchblade laws in Indiana.

I am excited about Tomes but he doesn't sound like he has much support on the committee to select Pence's replacement. Abdul had two of the members on his show last night. The first one kept going on and on about we had three wonderful candidates to choose from. Yep, Tomes was not mentioned at all.

When the second member began doing the same thing as the first, Abdul asked her about Tomes. She responded he was out of the mainstream and too extreme to be considered a serious candidate. I was out mowing and slapped the steering wheel of my tractor in frustration when I heard her say this.
