Meh, .22LR. It worked for the Eskimo woman who shot the world's largest polar bear. I heard that on the internet so I know it's true.;)

Sir, why do you use a .577 Tyrannosaur to hunt dinosaurs?:dunno:

It is my understanding that the T-Rex wouldn't be that hard to kill. Their heart was not that hard to get to. It has been stated before that most modern rifles could bring one down in a thirty caliber. Then considering that the thing could eat you in a couple of bites using a lot of power might be prudent. If it was me, I think I would go with 350 Remington magnum using 250 gr bullets. You could get back on target quickly and make a second shot if needed. Plus it wouldn't beat you to death. In a handgun I think I would go with the 445 Super Magnum or 460 S&W using the heavy bullets.

Now if we are talking one of the big plant eaters all bets are off. The bigger the caliber the better. They have very big bones and a lot of meat to go through to hit the vitals.

 All of you have it so wrong!
Have you not been paying attention to the 9mm vs .45 acp debate?
9mm kills the body, but .45 acp kills the soul!
All you need is a pair of .45 acp just like Burce Willis in "Last Man Standing".
    ;)
Those would be Model 3011, right? The full-auto version with flat-space tech magazines, of course.
