So just wondering if there is a job or career that you couldnt do ,no matter how much money it paid.

Example..I could never be a truck driver, I start falling asleep within a hour of driving. Really sucks when we go on vacay because hubby has to do all the driving.

Sales. I can recommend products all day long, and talk about what they've done that's made my life better, but every time I've ever tried to actually sell something, I've failed miserably. I've been trained in various techniques, but I can't execute them because when they're used on me it makes me want to kill the salesman. I can't stand the idea of being the guy responsible for getting money out of someone who really doesn't want to part with it. If you want what I'm selling, let's talk. If you're not interested, I'd rather not mess with your mind, your emotions, and your self-image just to produce buyer's remorse the minute you walk out the door.

I also can't do factory line work. The boredom kills me. I'd be the cause of all kinds of accidents because my mind would wander and I'd stop paying attention to what I was doing.

My brother had to do a rotation in med school. He said the thrill wears off real quick.

I'm sure. The lobby never really looks like the green room for a porn casting call.
And the poor doc... I can imagine going home after a day at the office.
"Oh geez, I have to look at another one of THOSE? When do I ever get to NOT bring work home with me??"

I don't ever want to have to drive a truck to make a living again! B/c not only are the rules and regulations for drivers getting ridiculous but so are the ppl in cars. They show truck drivers no respect and think those trucks can stop on a dime! With all that said, I could not, no matter how much (little) it paid, I could not do what my wife does....a Homeaker! I love that woman to death. I am truly blessed with a great wife.

I don't think I'd want to be the one to decide what's a "new and improved flavor" in dog food companies.

I know a number of people that are required to do so for their employment. Not only pet foods, but baby formulas/food, .......pretty much everything nutritional for every member of the animal kingdom that has taste buds.

An endless job of a bureaucratic waking nightmare, having to listen to the drivel of idiots espousing their ignorance upon subjects of which they have power, while these same individuals direct insurmountable amounts of money into useless endeavors.

In other words, the 10 most scary words imaginable: "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help you."
