"The pain in my soul is unbearable. I keep asking myself the same unsolvable question: If my automobile took people's lives that means that I, Karl Benz, ... am responsible for people's deaths," he said in the letter."

    Where's the bacon?
Um.... am I missing something here? Other than the parallel to the reason why there's a law prohibiting suing gun manufacturers for the expected performance of their products...

Mikhail Kalashnikov seemed to bounce around on the issue. He also lived most of his life an Atheist, then turned back to Christ near his death. It's normal to question what you've done with your life at the end of it. Had the church the time to counsel him, it's likely they would have reminded him that the maker of tools is not responsible for what the craftsman does. It is quite likely the weapon - or any advanced weapon - saved more lives than it took or would have been taken from those less armed.

Considering more people in the US are killed each year from car accidents than firearms of all kinds...It spoofs Kalashnikov, but at the same time is serious. Where is our background checks on Car purchases? Why do you need a vehicle that can go 70 mph, let alone 200 mph. That car is black and looks dangerous.

Considering that a drivers license is a privilege as opposed to a constitutional right, where is the legislation to protect our children?

Where are the lawsuits suing dealerships for selling a car to someone that used it in a crime?

You can drive and/or own a car when you are 16, yet you are still too irresponsible for:Voting, owning a handgun, serving in the military, drinking....

So as spoof posts getting old, I usually dose mine with a bit of sarcasm. But underlying it all is usually a point or two.
