Well, I sold my EMP in 9 and was going to turn around and buy an EMP in 40. I am home on vacation and decided to take a look in some local gun shops. I stumbled upon an Ultra Carry(3") in 40. These things are rarer then hen's teeth to say the least. Practically looks brand new. The only thing I might add are Mepro night sights. From further research I found that Kimber only made these for a brief period of time. Does anybody else own of these 3" beauties? If so how do they perform. Fit and finish is great. The alloy frame shows little to no wear. It came with the original box and manual which was a plus. I found myself hating Kimber after my purchase of a Tactical Pro II. The overall accuracy isn't that great and the finish is downright horrible(KimPro Finish is a joke). Now, I own 3 Kimbers: Custom TLE II, Tactical Pro II, and the Ultra Carry. Pics to follow.
