I know it's an irrational fear, but unless a pistol has an exposed hammer and is DA/SA I stay away from them.
How do you resist the sweetness of the 1911?

I'd like to take a LAV class. I have a lot of respect for him. He's right, in the sense that he can not predict the experience level of all his students. Law of averages says eventually someone will eventually shoot themselves in the delicate bits. That being said, if you don't put your finger on the hangy-down thing on the pistol, you won't shoot yourself in the hangy-down thing on your body.
Can I still use AIWB if I have the correct Tommy Tactical Classtume? Facial hair, the right hip, happening sunglasses, a dirty baseball cap pulled down over my eyes, maybe some Arcteryx britches?
Not necessarily. Things other then fingers have pulled triggers before. Shirt tails. Floppy holster edges. Draw strings. Not saying not to carry aiwb. Just be careful of any obstruction.
