Has anyone swapped out the rubber grips on their LCR??? I'm carrying mine AIWB as bug, and I'm not happy with the stock grips. #1 they are a little "fatter" than necessary, #2 they are too 'sticky' and grab onto cover garment.

    Thoughts??

The trade-off with wooden grips is greatly enhanced felt recoil.

I took the stock rubber grips off of my 462 and replaced them with some walnut boot-style grips. I regret that decision every time I pull the trigger.

But I love it when I carry it because they're so slick...

I'd rather shoot an LCR with factory grips than a 642 with factory grips also.

Just don't lose heart in your gun if/when you change the grips out!

I encountered the same problem with LCR I used to have. I put the Hogue Bantom/boot grip on it. Made a lot of difference. Smaller and less grippy/clingy. The boot grip made it a lot easier to CC. You can see it on Rugers online store.
