lead wheel weights

I have a 5 gallon bucket half full of lead wheel weights. Is there any value in this for people that cast bullets or should i just scrap it?

Yes, please don't scrap the wheel weights. They are great for casting bullets!

I find this common price almost as funny and out of line as current AR prices. My local salvage yard sells lead for SUBSTANTIALLY less. I don't remember exact prices because it's been a while since I've bought any. I think it was around $0.70/lb for clean lead last summer (a little less for wheel weights). I'm pretty sure it hasn't gone up that much. I'm sure someone will call me out on it, so I'll call tomorrow to get a current price.
