    Yes, please don't scrap the wheel weights. They are great for casting bullets!

    I would be interested if Brownie and Sniper 79 don't get them for some reason. Call it thirds I guess. :D

    $1 per lb of lead is going rate. $0.80 per lb of wheel weights is my guess

    I find this common price almost as funny and out of line as current AR prices. My local salvage yard sells lead for SUBSTANTIALLY less. I don't remember exact prices because it's been a while since I've bought any. I think it was around $0.70/lb for clean lead last summer (a little less for wheel weights). I'm pretty sure it hasn't gone up that much. I'm sure someone will call me out on it, so I'll call tomorrow to get a current price.

    Hey, OP. I'll take them at .80 a pound, and I'll even come get them. Or, conversely, if you're a reloader but don't cast your own, we can work something out.
