    Great

I don't shoot my Glock 26. I was carrying it the day my son was born, and I put it away for him after that.

This is great. My father is scared of firearms and never owned one. Personally i hope to pass along alot of them to my children.

    That's pretty cool. :yesway:

You should get another one for you to carry/shoot. ;)

I've got other guns for that, no biggie. The 26 is cool b/c it's an early one, with the non-checkered frontstrap. It was my first Glock, and now it will be my son's, too. :) A matching 27 came through the shop used awhile back and I almost picked it up, but I've already got a later-model 27 that I don't shoot all that much...

1948 J.C. Higgins Model 10, 12ga bolt action. Probably have put less than 50 rounds through it, but it shoots well enough for an old, inexpensive bolt action shotgun. It was my first 12ga I bought in college and will remain with me (they were recalled, for no good reason that I can discern, and are hard to sell anyway) and I will not hesitate to shoot it, should the spirit move.

I have such an attachment to this old work-a-day gun, that I recently spent $85 on a walnut Boyds stock for it. I bought the gun for $60 in about 1991.

Type 53 Carbine, bought it for $35 six years ago, never fired it.

Sig P210, only put three magazines through it.

My Mossberg 500 12 gauge sits in its case more than anything. It got shot 3 times this year. Not 3 trips, but 3 trigger pulls. Made sure it was still sighted in and then put it back in the case and never went hunting. The only person that enjoys to shoot it is me. My son is still too young to wield the 12 gauge around, or handle the recoil. My wife "can" and has shot it, just not her flavor of tea.

She says it kicks too much... might have been the 3" slug that she didn't let me swap out for some 2 3/4 bird shot, for her first go round with a 12 gauge. She wanted the full experience, so... she got it lol. I give her props for doing so. She will shoot it and is accurate with it. Just not the most friendly firearm that I have.

Probably not what you meant but I collect Sig P228 Nickel guns. I have 23 of them that have never been fired and another 11 that have been used. More to what you really meant, it would be my night stand gun. It's a Sig P229 DAK with a CTC grip and TLR-1 light. I put 3 mags through it when I bought it 3 years ago but it hasn't been fired since.

I have a variety of early 1900's .22 single shot rifles and a Remington octagon barreled .22 that i have never shot. Other than those my Winchester 1894m .22 mag rarely sees range time.

Mossberg 500. Its my hunting shotgun, and since I moved to 'the big city' years ago and with my hours, I don't get much hunting in any longer. There will come a day, though, there will come a day.

My 500 spx. Had it out once in 3 years with only 5 rounds fired. It still gets a good wipe down with a oiled cloth once a month
