When I started reloading I purchased the Lee shell holder set, and all worked fine for pistol reloading. When I switched over to .223 I began having problems seating primers. More times than not, the primers would go in the primer pocket crooked and not seat properly. I noticed that there was slop in the shell holder that allowed the case to wobble. I purchased a RCBS holder, it was a much better fit and had a significantly less wobble. This change virtually eliminated my problems. Has anyone else noticed that the Lee shell holders have slop in them? I will be converting all holders to RCBS.

My Lee #4 was out of spec. I had an RCBS #10 that is appropriate for the .223. It fits fine. I also notice that there is a pretty big difference in the .223 brass. Some is too tight with the Lee holder, some is too loose on the RCBS.
