    I don't think it is required, but it sure is handy.

    I renewed mine 2 months ago and had to have the reference number off of the ISP site before they would process the paperwork at the city/county bldg.

    Same thing for myself , my mom's and a friend .

    I've heard that if you have the company (K-1 , P-1 , ???) do your finger prints you'll get the license much quicker .

    L-1 Identity Solutions. I strongly recommend you use them especially in Marion county or you're looking at the max time frame. Mine took 10 weeks. wasn't worth saving the $15 or whatever L-1 charges.

    Ok, it's been a while since I last renewed my permit (before the lifetime). Do you still have to take money orders to the CCB? Or do they accept cash or debit cards?
