    I've had the LMF II for around 3 years and it is a great knife. A couple of thoughts, this knife is a hefty knife that is solidly built, although it doesn't have a full-tang, it has not been an issue. The built-in sharpener in the sheath is a little gimmicky but in a pinch it'll work fine.

    The only downside to it for me is that I wish the entire blade was plain-edged and no serrations. But overall I'm very pleased with it, especially for the price that you can find it for.

    Another option that you might want to look into are the ESEE RC4 or RC5. I have the RC4 and it's smaller and lighter but feels better built IMO. It also fits my hand a lot better than the LMF II. If your budget allows it, I'd look into the ESEE knives.
