usually i would say it depends on what your trying to kill, but i think overkill pretty much sums this up

If you've been to an Appleseed, you'll only need the scope to see the target ... not hit it. Though, that standing position will be a bear to hold.

It would ensure a sniper is far enough away from his target not to get return fire....he would have to be cause running with a 100lbs weapon would be out of the question!
