Wow. That's a pretty good selection of survival gear.

I'll admit, my first response was to hate it because it looks like a blogger's SHTF kit rather than a field tested one. However, within in are some good ideas like the solar charging case on the UV water purifier. I'll admit I started looking for one after seeing that.

Never hate, look through it and steal ideas! I never tire of watching those videos on youtube, no matter how small or big, I always take something away from each video, good bad or otherwise.

I like how they have alot of expensive high tech gear but they decided to run a UTG holster for a 900 dollar gun

Kind of like how a lot of gun-board members roll!

"Hey - check out my new $1000 + 1911! I plan on carrying it in an Uncle Mike's holster held to my body with a $10.00 walmart leather belt. What do you think?" Know what I think? I think you'd be better served with a $600 pistol and a $150 belt / holster combo...that's what I think. :n00b:

Would it make a difference if it were a high-point in a one off custom sharkskin shoulder rig? (This is NOT me)

I have the same sharpener in both our bags and paid like $6-$8 for them at wallyworld...Amazon wants$29!!! Mine even came with a second smaller "pull through" sharpener to boot. I REALLY like that hammock, but the price is a bit out of line. That fire axe looks a lot like this old military escape tool from am old WWII airplane only not built as well and way more expensive too.

Those tent hammocks are the bomb, imho. I've been meaning to get one. Great way to have a super fast shelter that keeps you away from the creepy crawlies on the ground.
