Looking for a transmission shop, northish Indianapolis

We have a 1997 Chevy K1500 4x4 and it slips in 3rd gear. Anyone know a transmission mechanic or shop in the area that you could recommend and would have reasonable prices?

Goldsberry in Brownsburg is honest and fair. And it’s a father and son who really know their stuff. Not sure about their hours, though.

I have a buddy who uses a guy in Arcadia, which is just south of Atlanta on SR 19. If you are interested in going that far north, PM me and I will ask my buddy for the guy's info.

My transmission is acting up too. I'm taking my to RL Transmissions here in Bedford on Monday.

I haven't been in contact with them in @ 10yrs but Dallas Transmission in Lawrence at 56th & Thunderbird Rd. Always did good work at reasonable rates
