Looking for land to hunt near Fishers (private w permission or public DNR land)

I'm somewhat new to the central Indiana area and am looking for recommendations on public land to hunt within a reasonable distance from Fishers. I see Indiana added a few more locations this year according to the map (DNR: Where to Hunt) but without going out to a hand-full of public spots and looking around, I have no idea how these areas are. Any recommendations? Looking primarily to hunt Turkey, Deer, and Rabbit, shotgun only. I'm originally from Jasper County (Wheatfield/Demotte/Rensselaer) but moved to Fishers/Noblesville a few years ago.

If anyone has some inexpensive private land to lease out or barter, I'm interested in that as well! PM me the details if so.

good luck , every fence post and tree has someone hunting it ,around here bud.
Indiana has a few Fish and wildlife areas within a hour drive , rules and regulation will differ so check the web site for those

I did a lot of hunting at Salomonie Lake. Deer, waterfowl, fishing. It's about an hour north of Fishers.
