This is not fact, just my observation, I think an air weight 9MM would be a handful. You really learn to like the weight of the 940 when you shoot it. S&W whole selling point as a backup for a 9MM SA went up in flames aginst combos like the Glock 17-26, the G26 killed the S&W 940. I have seen them at gun shows cheap but they are usually gone quick, usually priced like a .38/.357, people just don't know.

Well I assure you if I ever see one priced like a .38 I'll be sure to buy it in a heartbeat. :):

S&W model 60-10. Out of production, without internal lock, .357 mag., accurate and handy with the 3" barrel. You just don't see many of these for sale. No you may not buy mine.

I picked up another nickel 36 this summer in about 95% condition. It would have been a steal at the price I gave for it except for the fact that the trigger guard is slightly bent. Not too sure what could have caused it. The finish at the bent point is flawless. I doubt that it has had a box of ammo through it.

Original S&W Bodyguards were revolvers, model #s 38 and 49, they had shrouded hammers, excellent concealed carry guns, I have carried these for years.

I had a 632 and 432. Both were 6 shot J Frame 2" barrels chambered in .32 H&R mag.. Sadly I sold both in '08 when factory ammo couldn't be had. It took 2 years before ammo became readily available again. The 632 was one of 500 made and they go for upwards of $1200 now (I know, so what). I'm on the hunt for an I Frame 2" in .38 S&W.

Two or three years ago. It was underpriced at a big box store and had a few issues. I sent it back to Smith and it was fixed for free.

Very nice! I had a 640 that had ejection problems. 9mm has a bit of a taper and fired cases liked to wedge themselves in the chambers. The only cure was to use ammo with nickeled cases.
