I do not currently have a LTCH license and was wondering exactly what is involved and individual experience with the process. I know I can file online and then get fingerprinted and then go to my county law enforcment but I don't understand the timeline involved. For instance is this something I can do in one or two days and then wait for it to come in the mail or are there time lines involved?

Technically there are only two steps that require you to travel. I filled out the app online on Sunday (and paid the fee online). I made the digital fingerprint appt. (paid those fees online also) for the next Friday on my lunch break. I then visited the sheriff's dept. the same day after work and paid my local fees and gave them the documentation from the fingerprinting.
