I have recently come into a 2.0 compact, with apex trigger kit installed. Today during maintenance I noticed what looks to me like a significant burr that has developed on the inside portion of the trigger bar. This is the first time I’ve noticed it, however it might have just escaped me until now. I have put about 600rds through it after the apex. Does this look normal or is this something that should be adressed? I’ve tried to get decent pics. Thanks all!

Mine doesn't look like that either. I am looking at my fullsize M&P though.
On the full size that part of the trigger bar serves 2 purposes, it disables the firing pin safety but also it uses the raised area in front of the firing pin safety on the slide to push it aside and allow the trigger reset.
I would look at that that raised area on the slide and see if it has abnormal wear, I am assuming the compact is similar.

I don't think that burr would contact anything but it doesn't look right

could it have been damaged when the trigger was installed by previous owner? I am guessing what ever caused that it was outside the gun. just my two cents.
