M&p .40c issue

Anyone else had problems with the M&P and durability. I was cleaning my gun a week or so ago and i noticed a chip. The chip is located on the locking block and it is about the size of half a pea wide and 1/8th of an inch deep. This gun has been kept very clean and lubed. It only has around 800 rounds through it. Any ideas on why this would be caused.

Never had an issue with my 9c and have lots and lots of rounds through it (stopped counting). It's not unheard of for cracks to develop in the slide though.

Can you post a pic of what you're describing?

Maybe the 40 is to powerful for that small of a gun.
