Picked up a new full size M&P 9mm last week, I have the 2 new mags that came with it as well as 6 other mags I already had, ranging from new to fairly used. They all have the newer style base plates.

Seems like the mags are taking too much force to be fully seated in the pistol.. This seems to apply to all my mags, loaded and unloaded. I haven't owned a FS M&P in a couple years but i don't remember the mags taking this much force to seat and this wasn't the case with my 9c either. I basically have to use my off hand to forcefully whack the mag to get it to seat.

I was wondering if you guys could give me your opinions on whether this is normal or I have an issue. Sorry for the crappy quality of the video. Thanks in advance.

My fully stoked M&P mags are also difficult to ram home on a slide-closed pistol.

    gotta want it!
