M&P Compact 2.0 Apex trigger question

Been reading conflicting reports of weather or not the Apex AEK trigger kit for the original I guess everyone is now referring to 1.0 M&P's will work on a M&P 2.0 Compact. Does anyone know for certain what the truth is?

I was looking at the Apex site yesterday and they have a separate section for the M&P 2.0. I would in the AEK section. Probably have not updated the website yet. You will need the AEK for the M&P 45 not the first generation.

The one I put in my M&P 9 Compact is the "S&W M&P M2.0 Flat Faced Forward Set Trigger Kit". So yes...I would say it is 2.0 specific.
