M&P Shield 9mm

Just wondering how hard it is to find a new M&P shield 9mm right now? I've checked a handful S&W dealers within 60 miles of where I live and they are telling me they are having a hard time getting ahold of them? Also, what's a fair price for a new one at a LGS?

cabin fever and scotts hardware in scottsburg has one in stock and guns knives and more in paoli had one couple days ago in stock. around $400 seems to be the going price. think scotts had $430 on theirs but they are always high

The past weekend I saw one in stock at BGF and another in stock at USDS. The Indy 1500 is tomorrow and I'm hoping to pick one up there.

I found one for $360 at Palmetto State Armory in Nov. last yr.

and yes, around $400 is the going rate ($390-425)

Bradis in Camby usually has them for right around $409 I believe. Also if you're desperate, Gander usually has them for a little over $400.

Not really. IF we get any in they sell out in a couple days.....Usually the only M&Ps we have in are the regular M&Ps, not the Shield

I've been to the one on County Line Road twice in the past month or so and they had one each time. I only coonfingered it once though.

We have them in stock most of the time. This would include now, by far our best selling firearm.

I've seen them in the last three shops I have been in in the last month or so. My wife wants one and I am happy to oblige once that tax money hits. Bradis has had the lowest price I have found in my area, by about 35 bucks.

I bought one at Elmore's in Greenwood a little while back and they indicated that they had 18-20 of the 9mm in stock - when no one else did!

Got mine in early January from Fort Liberty for $399.99.

Had to be put on a waiting list and it took about 2-3 weeks though.

Those $389 prices at the 1500 were for .40 only. There were no 9mm that I could find at that price. The best I could find was the one I bought, marked $420 and talked down to $410. The other 9mm Shields I saw at the show were $419 or higher and wouldn't budge on the price. Every booth that had the .40 Shields in for $389 said they were out of the 9mm.

Got mine at Dunhams for 399. They normally want around 445, but they match prices within 50 miles if that store / gun shop has it in stock.

I picked up 9mm Shield yesterday at KS & E Sports new in the box for $379.

Down here in the south they are plentiful. Low around $370, high around $450. You can mail order from a place in Kentucky that sales them @ $370.99 but then you got a shipping charge, and a FFL fee.
