Looking at purchasing a VTAC in 9mm. worth the extra $ from the standard M&P?

iirc the finish wears on the slide over time. Looks cool though.

Thanks man, yeah I watched a review of the VTAC and the guy stated he only had it 6 months and it had some wear already

Also, you pay quite a bit extra for the VTAC sights. Some people love them, but many (myself inclided) don't care for them.

Why? Unless he plans to add an RDS, I see no reason to buy a CORE.

yeah im not all about putting a red dot on a pistol. the price difference between the M&P 9 and vtac isn't all that much and I really dig the sights

Loved the looks of mine when I had it, but I just never warmed up to the sights. Sold it a couple months ago. Pretty gun though...

I think it's worth it!!! Love my m&p9, I'm gonna get a vtac eventually.
