I don't know where you are but I saw a Socom 16 sitting on the rack at Fort Sackville Guns in Vincennes the other day......Thursday I think.
I looked at it a couple of months ago and he had $1,500 on it. Not sure if the price has changed, if it's even still there.
It had the black synthetic stock.

Depending where you're at. Midwest in south bend had a bunch of them but that was a month ago

It was the little gun shop in the small strip mall on the west side of the road. Yes it was south of town.. very small place
