    beware of the new RFID key-less locks.. I had a co worker who got so used to using them that he would not actively lock his truck, it would lock "automatically" when his key FOB got far enough away.. But he was at work standing on the other side of a wall and did not realize he was 10 feet from his truck... Lost a handgun...

    Don't think your gun is safe because the car is locked. I trained wrecker and lock out service people to unlock vehicles. It doesn't take a minute if you practice. Less time if you aren't worried about scratching the vehicle.
